| Description : |
CHD7 (Chromodomain Helicase DNA Binding Protein 7) is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzyme that contains multiple chromodomains and helicase domains. Mutations in CHD7 are associated with CHARGE syndrome (Coloboma, Heart defects, Atresia of choanae, Retarded growth, Genital hypoplasia, Ear anomalies). CHD7 plays critical roles in embryonic development, neural crest cell migration, and regulation of gene expression through chromatin remodeling. |
