• Description: CITED1 (Cbp/p300-Interacting Transactivator 1) / Melanocyte-specific protein 1 is highly expressed in most of the papillary thyroid carcinoma. It is not expressed in normal tissues except normal breast epithelium. Study shows that this protein functions as a selective coactivator for estrogendependent transcription.
