Recombinant Human CYP1B1 protein, His-tagged

Cat.No. : CYP1B1-595H
Product overview : Recombinant Human CYP1B1 (Q16678) aa. (Asp374~Phe516) fused with His tag was produced in E. coli cells.
Description : This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. The enzyme encoded by this gene localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and metabolizes procarcinogens such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 17beta-estradiol. Mutations in this gene have been associated with primary congenital glaucoma; therefore it is thought that the enzyme also metabolizes a signaling molecule involved in eye development, possibly a steroid.
Source : E. coli
Species : Human
Tag : His
Form : Freeze-dried powder
Molecular Mass : Predicted Molecular Mass: 17.6kDa; Accurate Molecular Mass: 18&16kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions.
Protein length : Asp374~Phe516
Purity : >98%
Characteristic : Isoelectric point is 7.9.
Applications : Cell culture; Activity Assays.
Stability : The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage : Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8°C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months.
Storage buffer : 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH8.0, containing 0.05% sarcosyl and 5% trehalose.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute in 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl (pH8.0) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex
SDS-PAGE :
