Cat. No. : EGFR-297H
Description : EGFR is the receptor for members of the EGF family and is a transmembrane glycoprotein that has tyrosine kinase activity. Binding of epidermal growth factor to EGFR induces receptor dimerization and tyrosine autophosphorylation and leads to cell proliferation, differentiation, motility, and cell survival. Activation of EGFR triggers mitogenic signaling in gastrointestinal mucosa, and its expression is upregulated in colon cancers and most neoplasms. Activation of EGFR triggers activation of the ERK-signaling pathway in normal gastric epithelial and colon cancer cell lines. Inactivation of EGFR with selective inhibitors significantly reduces ERK2 activation, c-fos mRNA expression and cell proliferation.
Source : Sf9 insect cellsusing baculovirus.
Sequence : 695-end.
Applications : Kinase Assay, Western Blot.
Storage And Stability : Store product at –70°C. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

09/05/2022

The powerful biological activity of EGFR combined with its high purity makes the experimental results highly reproducible, which is of great significance in the field of scientific research.

    09/26/2019

Due to the short half-life and high clearance characteristics of EGFR, they can better adapt to the needs of clinical treatment and provide more treatment options for patients.

      03/23/2019

The production process of EGFR uses advanced biotechnology, which makes the production process more efficient and environmentally friendly, and reduces the consumption of human and material resources.
