Description : |
Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase EZH1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the EZH1 gene. |
Specific Activity : |
0.3 pmol/min/mg. Assay conditions: 50 μl reaction mix (50 mM TRIS pH8.8, 5 mM MgCl2, 4 mM DTT, 20 μM S-adenosylmethionine, and 0-400 ng enzyme complex) add to the wells coated with the substrate. Incubate for 1 hr. Add antibody against methylated K27 residue of histone H3, incubate 1 hr. Finally, incubate 1h with the Europeum-labeled secondary antibody. Time resolved fluorescence measured at λexc=330 nm, λem=620 nm). |
Application : |
Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. |
Formulated In : |
25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 138 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 100 μg/ml flag peptide and 10% glycerol. |
Stability : |
>6 months at –80°C. |
