Species : Human
Source : Sf9 Cells
Tag : GST
Protein Length : 2-end a.a.
Description : PFKFB4 (also known as 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase-4) regulates the steady-state concentration of fructose-2, 6-bisphosphate, a potent activator of a key regulatory enzyme of glycolysis pathway called phosphofructokinase. Isozymes of PFKFB differ in the regions surrounding the catalytic core, which are important for the differential response to allosteric effectors and hormonal signals in different tissues. PFKFB4 is highly expressed in brain, heart, liver, muscle, placenta, adipose tissue, ovary, fallopian tubes, and testis.
Form : Recombinant protein stored in 50mM Tis-HCl, pH 7.5, 50mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol.
Molecular Mass : ~82 kDa
Purity : >95% by densitometry
Applications : Western Blot
Storage : Store product at –70 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Concentration : 0.1 μg/μl
