Description : |
This gene is a member of the aggrecan/versican proteoglycan family. The protein encoded is a large chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan and is a major component of the extracellular matrix. This protein is involved in cell adhesion, proliferation, proliferation, migration and angiogenesis and plays a central role in tissue morphogenesis and maintenance. Mutations in this gene are the cause of Wagner syndrome type 1. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. |
Form : |
Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : |
Predicted Molecular Mass: 30.3 kDa Accurate Molecular Mass: 32 kDa |
Purity : |
> 90% |
Applications : |
Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; WB. |
Stability : |
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 centigrade for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |
Storage : |
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 centigrade for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 centigrade for 12 months. |
Storage Buffer : |
PBS, pH7.4, containing 0.01% SKL, 1 mM DTT, 5% Trehalose and Proclin300. |
Reconstitution : |
Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. |
