Cat. No. : |
IL8-5434M |
Description : |
IL8, also named CXCL8, monocyte-derivedneutrophil chemotactic factor (MDNCF), neutrophil-activating protein 1(NAP1), neutrophil-activating factor (NAF) and granulocyte chemotacticpeptide (GCP), belongs to the Glu-Leu-Arg motif containing (ELR+)CXC chemokine family and has been designated CXCL8. IL8 is a potentneutrophil chemoattractant that recruits neutrophils to sites ofinflammation. IL8 also activates neutrophil functions and promotesangiogenesis. |

Reconstitution : |
We recommend thatthis vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents tothe bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffercontaining 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Stock solutionsshould be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20°C. Furtherdilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions. |
Storage : |
This lyophilizedpreparation is stable at 2-8°C, but should be kept at -20°C for long termstorage, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, the preparation isstable for up to one week at 2-8°C. For maximal stability, apportion thereconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20°C to -80°C.Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
