Description : Axl is a member of receptor tyrosine kinases characterized by an extracellular domains (ECD) resembling cell adhesion molecules and unique sequences in the kinase domain. In addition, Axl is transforming in both fibroblast and hematopoietic cells, and appears to be involved in mesenchymal development.1 Axl regulates cell migration, phagocytosis and apoptosis.
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse Axl is Mr 73.8 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 100-110 kDa.
