• Description: Vascular endothelial growth factor D (VEGF-D) is a potent angiogenic factor that is a member of the VEGF family that activates VEGF receptor-2. VEGF-D is also lymphangiogenic, and promotes metastatic spread of tumor cells via lymphatic vessels. It may be useful in the treatment of breast cancer as a decision-making biomarker for aggressive treatment after operation.
• Molecular Weight: The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Mouse VEGF-D is Mr 13.0 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 14-20 kDa.
