Ask a question
What post-translational modifications are commonly identified on CABP2? 11/08/2022

Potential post-translational modifications like phosphorylation can be identified using techniques such as mass spectrometry.

Are there specific pathological conditions linked with CABP2 dysregulation? 07/12/2022

Dysregulation of CABP2 may have implications in neurological disorders given its predominant expression in neural tissues.

Which specific calcium channels or proteins are known to interact directly with CABP2? 06/03/2022

CABP2 is known to interact with certain voltage-gated calcium channels, influencing their function.

Are there any known genetic variants in the CABP2 gene that influence its calcium binding properties? 02/04/2022

Genetic variants might alter CABP2's calcium-binding sites or its interactions with calcium channels, affecting its regulatory roles.

What is the main biological role of CABP2 in calcium signaling? 09/27/2021

CABP2 is involved in calcium-dependent cellular processes by binding calcium ions and possibly modulating calcium channel activity.

In which specific human tissues or organs is CABP2 primarily expressed? 07/06/2021

CABP2 is prominently expressed in neural tissues, particularly in specific regions of the brain.

How does CABP2 modulate intracellular calcium levels or signaling? 01/06/2021

By binding calcium and potentially interacting with calcium channels, CABP2 can regulate calcium influx and related signaling pathways.
