• Description: FRA is the Trypanosoma cruzi cytoskeleton assocociated protein. It is built up of repeats of 68 amino acids that are very much conserved between strains and isolates of Trypanosoma cruz. This antigen is useful for detection of chronic infection.

• Molecular Mass: Determined by SDS-PAGE, the protein band is between molecular markers of 45-66.2 kDa, while relative molecular mass calculated from amino acid sequence is 49,832.5 Da.
