Species : T.gondii
Source : E.coli
Tag : His
Description : p35 (GRA8), a 35 kDa protein, has been described as a marker of acute infection able to differentiate acute from chronic infection. There are three secretory organs present in Toxoplasma gondii cytoplasm, as the dense granules. Dense granule antigens (GRA), secreted in abundance are highly immunodominant and induce strong antibody response.
Tag : N-His
Molecular Mass : Determined by SDS-PAGE, the protein band is between the molecular markers of 25 and 35 kDa, while relative molecular mass calculated from amino acid sequence is 21,757.5 Da.
Purity : > 95% by observation on SDS-PAGE electrophoresis
Applications : WB, DB, IE, DE, CLIA, LF
Storage : Upon arrival, it should be aliquoted to avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles and stored at -20 to -80 centigrade. In order to defrost the protein, maintain the aliquot at 25 centigrade without shaking to avoid aggregation.
Storage Buffer : 20 mM phosphate buffer pH 6, 0.15 M NaCl and 5 mM EDTA
Concentration : 1.45 mg/mL
Shipping : Protein is shipped with dry ice.
