|Official Full Name||CD3g molecule, gamma (CD3-TCR complex)|
|Background||The protein encoded by this gene is the CD3-gamma polypeptide, which together with CD3-epsilon, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. Defects in this gene are associated with T cell immunodeficiency.|

CD3G has several biochemical functions, for example, T cell receptor binding, protein heterodimerization activity, receptor signaling complex scaffold activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by CD3G itself. We selected most functions CD3G had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with CD3G. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

CD3G has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with CD3G here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of CD3G.
