TAL (Transaldolase) mainly refers to threonine transaldolases, which can catalyze the reaction to synthesize β-hydroxyphenylalanine derivatives with threonine and benzaldehyde derivatives. TAL is PLP dependent enzyme. TAL enzyme can be used to synthesis of β-hydroxyphenylalanine and its derivatives. |

1. Normally, the reaction system should include substrate, buffer solution, enzyme, PLP, Mg2+.
2. TAL should be added last into reaction system, after the pH and temperature been adjusted to the reaction condition. |
