Native Human Follicle Stimulating Hormone, Beta Polypeptide

Cat. No.: FSHB-672H
Product Overview: Native human FSHB isa heterodimeric hormone consisting of a 92 amino acids alpha chain and a 111amino acids beta chain.
Description: Amylasesare secreted proteins that hydrolyze 1,4-alpha-glucoside bonds inoligosaccharides and polysaccharides, and thus catalyze the first step indigestion of dietary starch and glycogen. The human FSHB has acluster of several amylase genes that are expressed at high levels in eithersalivary gland or pancreas. This gene encodes an amylase isoenzyme producedby the salivary gland. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcriptvariants encoding the same protein.
Form: Lyophilized from asterile filtered solution without additives
Source: Urine ofpost-menopausal women
Molecular Weight: 30 kDa
Purity: > 98.0% asdetermined by RP-HPLC and SDS-PAGE analyses
Endotoxin Level: < 0.1 ng/ug ofprotein
Reconstitution: Centrifuge vialprior to opening. First add sterile water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Aftercomplete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to otheraqueous solutions.
Storage: Store lyophilizedprotein at -20oC to -80oC. Reconstitutedprotein is stable for 1 week at 2-4oC. Forlong term storage, aliquot and store at -20oC to -80oC with acarrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer.
