Description : SERPINE1is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SERPINE1 gene. SERPINE1 is aserine protease inhibitor (serpin) that functions as the principal inhibitorof tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase (uPA), the activators ofplasminogen and hence fibrinolysis (the physiological breakdown of bloodclots). It is a serine protease inhibitor (serpin) protein.
Form : Frozenliquid in 0.05 M sodium phosphate + 0.1 M NaCl + 1 mM EDTA + 1 mM DDT, pH 6.6.
Concentration : 2.5 mg/ml
Molecular Weight : 43.0 kDa
Purity : > 95%
Biological Activity : > 98% active as determined bytitration with HWM tc-urokinase and SDS-PAGE.
Storage : Store inworking aliquots at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
