Cat. No. : IL6R-1242H
Description : The IL6R complex is composed of two membrane glycoproteins: thelow affinity receptor and the signaltransducing component. The soluble formof IL6R is found in the urine of healthy adult humans and the serum of HIVpositive individuals, as well as in the cell culture supernatants ofstimulated PBMC's. This soluble form of IL6R results from either proteolyticcleavage from the membrane, or an isoform derived splice variant.
