Cat. No. : |
Artn-578M |
Description : |
Artn is a member ofthe Glia CellDerived Neurotrophic factor (GDNF) family ligands, which includeGDNF, Persephin, Artn, and Neurturin. GDNF family ligands are distant membersof the Transforming Growth Factor β (TGFβ) superfamily. Similar to other TGFβfamily proteins, Artn is synthesized as a large precursor protein that iscleaved at the dibasic cleavage site (RXXR) to release the carboxy terminal domain. |

Measured in a cellproliferation assay using SHSY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. The ED50for this effect is typically 2-8 ng/mL. Measured by its binding ability in afunctional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human GFRα3 Fc Chimera at 2 μg/mL(100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant Mouse Artemin with a linear range of 0.08-10ng/mL. |
