Cat. No. : Eng-449M
Description : Eng is a 90kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the zona pellucida (ZP) family of proteins.Eng andbetaglycan/TβRIII are type III receptors for TGF beta superfamily ligands, sharing71% amino acid (aa) identity within the transmembrane (TM) and cytoplasmicdomains. Eng ishighly expressed on proliferating vascular endothelial cells, chondrocytes, and syncytiotrophoblasts of term placenta, with lower amounts onhematopoietic, mesenchymal and neural crest stem cells, activated monocytes, and lymphoid and myeloid Leukemic cells.
Source : Mammalian cells
Form : Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminalSequence : Glu27
MolecularWeight : 86 kDa (monomer)
Activity : Measuredby its ability to bind TGFβ RII/Fc Chimera in a functional ELISA. Optimaldilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.
Endotoxin Level : <1.0EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : >90%,by SDSPAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100μg/mL in sterilePBS.
Storage : Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, 20 to 70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, 20 to70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
