Recombinant Mouse Chemokine (C-C motif) Ligand 17

Cat. No.: Ccl17-463M
Product Overview: Recombinant Mouse Ccl17protein was expressed in E. coli. Ala24-Pro93.
Description: Human thymus and activationregulatedchemokine (TARC) also known as Ccl17, is a novel CC chemokine identified usinga signal sequence trap method. Mouse Ccl17 was discovered as a dendritic cell(DC) specific gene by differentiation RNA display. Mouse Ccl17 cDNA encodes ahighly basic 93 amino acid (aa) residue precursor protein with a 23 aa residueputative signal peptide that is cleaved to generate the 70 aa residue mature secretproteins.
Source: E. coli-derived
Form: Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution in Acetonitrile and TFA with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminalSequence: Ala24
Molecular Weight: 7.9 kDa
Activity: Measuredby its ability to chemoattract CEMNKR human Tlymphoblastoid cells. Howell, D.N.et al. (1985) J. Immunol. 134:971. The ED50 for this effect is typically2 10 ng/mL. Measured by its ability to chemoattract human CCR4 transfected BaF3mouse proB cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 2-8 ng/mL.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EUper 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: Reconstituteat 25 μg/mL in sterile PBS that containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serumalbumin.
Storage: Use a manualdefrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months,-20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
