Recombinant Human aldehyde dehydrogenase 6 family, member A1, His-tagged

Cat. No.: ALDH6A1-500H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human ALDH6A1protein was expressed as 6-his-tagged fusion protein by E.Coli and puried byNi-sepharose. MW=44 kDa. The puried protein was resolved in 1M PBS (58mMNa2HPO4,17mM NaH2PO4, 68mM NaCl, pH8. ) added with 300mM Imidazole and 0.7% Sarcosyl,15%glycerol.
Description: ALDH6A1 an enzymethat in humans is encoded by the ALDH6A1 gene. This protein belongs to thealdehyde dehydrogenases family of proteins. This enzyme plays a role in thevaline and pyrimidine catabolic pathways. The product of this gene, amitochondrial methylmalonate semialdehyde dehydrogenase, catalyzes theirreversible oxidative decarboxylation of malonate and methylmalonatesemialdehydes to acetyl- and propionyl-CoA.
