Recombinant Mouse TTBK2 (Active), GST-tagged

Cat.No.: TTBK2-1502M
Product Overview: Recombinant mouse TTBK2 (70-538) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
Description: TTBK2 or tau tubulin kinase 2 is a serine-threonine kinase that putatively phosphorylates tau and tubulin proteins. TTBK2 is a member of the casein kinase (CK1) group of eukaryotic protein kinases that is involved in tau phosphorylation and aggregation. Mutations in TTBK2 cause spinocerebellar ataxia type 11 (SCA11) (a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive ataxia and atrophy of the cerebellum and brainstem).
