Recombinant Mouse Interleukin 17F

Cat. No.: Il17f-497M
Product Overview: Recombinant Mouse IL-17F produced in E.coli is a homodimeric, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing a total of 133 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 14.9 kDa.
Description: Interleukin-17 (IL-17 or IL-17A) is the founding member of a group of cytokines called the IL-17 family. Interleukin 17 is a cytokine that acts as a potent mediator in delayed ?C type reactions by increasing chemokine production in various tissues to recruit monocytes and neutrophils to the site of inflammation, similar to Interferon gamma. IL- 17 is produced by T helper cells and is induced by IL ?C 23 which results in destructive tissue damage in delayed ?C type reactions.
Species: Mouse
Source: E.coli
Form: Lyophilized with no additives.
Purity: Purity Greater than 98% as determined by: Analysis by RP-HPLC. Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
Bio-activity: IL-17F is fully bioactive when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant induction of IL-6 in NHDF is 1.94 ng/ml.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
Purity Greater than 98% as determined by: Analysis by RP-HPLC. Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
