Recombinant Human Ras-Related C3 Botulinum Toxin Substrate 2 (Rho Family, Small GTP Binding Protein Rac2), His-tagged

Cat. No. : RAC2-4536H
Product Overview : RAC2 Human Recombinant fused with 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 209 amino acids (1- 189 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.3kDa. The RAC2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Description : RAC2 is a small signaling G protein/GTPase which is part of the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins which regulate cell growth, actin cytoskeletal organization, cell proliferation, survival, cell cycle progression, gene transcription rgulation and the activation of protein kinases. RAC2 cycles between an active gtp-bound and inactive gdp-bound state. In active state, RAC2 binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate cellular responses, such as secretory processes, phagocytose of apoptotic cells and epithelial cell polarization. RAC2 is involved in the regulation of the nadph oxidase.
Source : Human
Host : Escherichia Coli.
Form : The RAC2 solution contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 20% Glycerol, 2mM EDTA, 2mM DTT and 0.1M NaCl.
Purity : Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Physical Appearance : Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Amino acid sequence : MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MQAIKCVVVG DGAVGKTCLL ISYTTNAFPG EYIPTVFDNY SANVMVDSKP VNLGLWDTAG QEDYDRLRPL SYPQTDVFLI CFSLVSPASY ENVRAKWFPE VRHHCPSTPI ILVGTKLDLR DDKDTIEKLK EKKLAPITYP QGLALAKEID SVKYLECSAL TQRGLKTVFD EAIRAVLCPQ PTRQQKRAC
Storage : RAC2 although stable 4°C for 4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
