Recombinant Human ODF3, His-tagged

Cat.No.: ODF3-7712H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human Poliovirus Receptor/PVR is produced with our mammalian cells expression system in HEK293. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Trp21Asn343) of Human PVR fused with a polyhistidine tag at the Cterminus.
Description: Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) is a 70 kDa type I transmembrane singlespan glycoprotein that belongs to the nectinlike (Necl) family and was originally identified based on its ability to mediate the cell attachment and entry of poliovirus (PV), an etiologic agent of the central nervous system disease poliomyelitis. PVR contains three Iglike extracellular domains, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic tail. The normal cellular function of PVR maybe the involvement of intercellular adhension between epithelial cells. Alternate splicing of the PVR mRNA yields four different isoforms (alpha, beta, gamma, and ??) with identical extracellular domains.
