Description : MAO B is distributed at high levels in the liver, brain and platelets. Benzylamine and phenylethylamine are considered selective substrate for MAO B. Deprenyl has been shown to be a potent and selective inhibitor and is currently used in the treatment of Parkinson?s disease.
