Q&As (5)

Ask a question
Can ICAM1 be a potential therapeutic target? 07/11/2021

Yes, targeting ICAM1 is being explored as a potential therapeutic strategy for inflammatory diseases, with research focusing on developing ICAM1 inhibitors.

How is ICAM1 involved in inflammation? 07/09/2020

ICAM1 is upregulated during inflammation, promoting the adhesion of immune cells to the endothelium and facilitating their migration into inflamed tissues.

How is ICAM1 involved in cancer progression? 07/07/2019

ICAM1 expression can be altered in cancer cells and is implicated in promoting cancer progression by facilitating tumor cell adhesion, invasion, and metastasis.

Are there diagnostic applications for ICAM1 in clinical settings? 01/13/2017

ICAM1 levels can be measured in blood or tissue samples, and elevated levels may serve as diagnostic markers for certain inflammatory diseases.

Can ICAM1 be used as a prognostic marker in certain diseases? 08/13/2016

Elevated levels of ICAM1 in some diseases may serve as prognostic markers, indicating disease severity and potential outcomes.

04/27/2022

Manufacturers may provide documentation of the protein's validation, which includes information about its purity, concentration, stability, and potential contaminants.

    11/05/2020

This can be particularly important in clinical trials to ensure accurate and reliable results.

      10/14/2016

If the need arises for larger quantities of ICAM1 protein during the later stages of clinical trials, the manufacturer can facilitate scale-up production processes to meet those requirements.
