Description: Patatin-like phospholipase domain-containing protein 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PNPLA3 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a triacylglycerol lipase that mediates triacylglycerol hydrolysis in adipocytes. The encoded protein, which appears to be membrane bound, may be involved in the balance of energy usage/storage in adipocytes.

Formulation: Lyophilized 100μg human PNPLA3 in 50μl of TBS (20mM Tris, 50mM NaCl, pH8.0). Carry free.
Purity: >95% by SDS gel.
Application: Cell biology.
Reconstitution: Add 500μl deionized water to the vial to prepare a working stock solution at 200μg/mL. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4℃, mix well.
Storage: Store lyophilized protein at -20℃ or -70℃. Lyophilized protein is stable for up to 6 months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -70℃. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored at -20℃ for a few weeks or at -70℃ in a manual defrost freezer for long term storage (six months). Aliquot reconstituted protein to avoid repeated freezing / thawing cycles.
