||Recombinant full-length human CAMK4 was expressed by baculovirus inSf9insect cells using a N-terminal GST tag. MW = 79 kDa.
||CAMK4 is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of Ca(2+)/calmodulin- dependent protein kinase family. CAMK4 is localized in neurons in the hippocampus, amygdala, anterior cingulate cortex, somatosensory cortex, and insular cortex. CAMK4 is involved in neural activity-dependent signaling in the neuronal nucleus and thought to plays an important role in the consolidation/retention of hippocampus-dependent long-term memory.
||Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus.
||Kinase Assay, Western Blot.
|Storage And Stability:
||Store product at -70°C. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
