|Cat. No. :
||Desmoglein 1, also known as DSG1, is a human gene. Desmosomes are cell-cell junctions between epithelial, myocardial and certain other cell types. Desmoglein 1 is a calcium-binding transmembrane glycoprotein component of desmosomes in vertebrate epithelial cells. Currently, three desmoglein subfamily members have been identified and all are members of the cadherin cell adhesion molecule superfamily. DGI expression may be a significant factor for invasion, metastasis, and prognosis of human esophageal cancer.
|Molecular Weight :
||The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human Desmoglein-1 is Mr 82 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 110 kDa.
|State Of Matter :
||>95% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
||<1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
|Storage And Stability :
||This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70℃. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.
