Description: FGFR2 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family which play a role in mitogenesis and differentiation. FGFR2 is a high-affinity receptor for acidic, basic and/or keratinocyte growth factor, and mutations in FGFR2 are associated with Crouzon syndrome, Pfeiffer syndrome, Craniosynostosis, Apert syndrome, Jackson-Weiss syndrome, Saethre-Chotzen syndrome, and syndromic craniosynostosis. FGFR2 is required for early postimplantation development between implantation and the formation of the egg cylinder. FGFR2 contributes to the outgrowth, differentiation, and maintenance of the inner cell mass.

Molecular Weight: The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human FGF R2α (IIIb) is Mr 66 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 100 kDa.

Endotoxin: < 0.1 ng per 1 µg as determined by the LAL method.
Storage And Stability: This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
