||Recombinant Human G9a (euchromatic histone-lysine N-methyltransferase 2) (amino-acids 785-1210), with N-terminal GST tag expressed inE.Coliexpression system. MW = 74.6 kDa.
||Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase, H3 lysine-9 specific 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the EHMT2 gene. A cluster of genes, BAT1-BAT5, has been localized in the vicinity of the genes for TNF alpha and TNF beta. This gene is found near this cluster; it was mapped near the gene for C2 within a 120-kb region that included a HSP70 gene pair.
||Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
||25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 30% glycerol, and 3 mM DTT.
