• Description: Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 1A, (TNFRI) also known as TNFRSF1A or CD120A is the principal receptor through which many of the pro-inflammatory activities of TNF-alpha are mediated. TNFRI contains a death domain through which it interacts with other death-domain proteins to promote cellular responses. It regulates immune and inflammatory responses.

• Biological Activity: rHusTNFRI is fully biologically active when compared to standards.The activity was measured by its ability to neutralize apoptosis of mouse L929 cells treated with 0.25 ng/mL rhTNF-a. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.4-1 ng/mL.
