Recombinant Human Ectodysplasin A2 Receptor, Fc-tagged

Cat. No.: EDA2R-2098H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human Ectodysplasin A2 Receptor along with Fc tag is expressed inHEK 293 cells. The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human XEDAR is Mr 41.8 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 61 kDa.
Description: Recombinant Human XEDAR containing the signal peptide from human CD33 joined with the extracellular domain of human XEDAR was fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 via a linker peptide. XEDAR (X-linked Ectodysplasin A2 Receptor) is a recently isolated member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family that is highly expressed during embryonic development and induces apoptosis. XEDAR is a receptor for Ectodysplasin-A2 (EDA-A2) which may be a promising agent for the gene therapy of osteosarcoma.
Source: HEK 293.
Purity: >95% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Biological Activity: The biological activity of Human XEDAR was determined by its ability to bind rhEDA-A2/His. Immobilized rhXEDAR/Fc at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind rhEDA-A2/His with a linear range of 0.045 - 5 ng/mL in a functional ELISA.
Endotoxin: <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
State Of Matter: Lyophilized.
Formulation: This recombinant protein was 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from modified Dulbecco's phosphate buffered saline (1X PBS) pH 7.2 – 7.3 with no calcium, magnesium, or preservatives.
Storage And Stability: This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°Cto -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°Cto 8°Cfor one month or at -20°Cto -70°Cin a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
