Recombinant Human C1QTNF5, His-tagged, Globular Domain

Cat. No. : C1QTNF5-2107H
Product Overview : Recombinant HumanC1QTNF5 produced inE. coli. The globular domain of human CTRP5 (aa 96-243) is fused at the N-terminus to a His-tag.
Description : CTRP5 is a member of the CTRP familly designated as C1q tumor necrosis factor-related proteins. The CTRPs are paralogs of the adiponectin protein characterized by an N-termius variable region and C-terminal globular domain (C1q). CTRP5 is a putative secreted protein. A mutation in CTRP5 gene has been genetically linked to the Late-onset retinal degeneration (L-ORD) disease wich lead to severe visual loss.
