Recombinant Human S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2 (p45)

Cat. No. : SKP2-684H
Product Overview : Recombinant Human skp2 (aa 221-425) is expressed inE. coli.MW=49kDa.
Description : SKP2 is a substrate recognition component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins involved in cell cycle progression, signal transduction and transcription. SKP2 specifically recognizes phosphorylated CDKN1B/p27kip and is involved in regulation of G1/S transition. This gene is established as a protooncogene causally involved in the pathogenesis of lymphomas (referenced from swissprot).
Source : E. coli.
Application : ELISA, Inhibition Assays, Western Blotting.
Presentation : 100μl purified human SKP2 protein at 100μg/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA, 20% Glycerol without BSA and Sodium Azide.
Characterization : On SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel, the purified recombinant protein shows a band at 49kDa (including GST).
Storage : Store vial at -200Cto -800C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months.
