||Recombinant human Aurora B kinase consisting of mino acids 2-344 was fused at the N-terminus to a GST-His Tag sequence. It was expressed inS. frugiperdainsect cells using a baculovirus expression system.MW = 70000 Da.
||Aurora B is a mitotic kinase that phosphorylates histone H3 and CenpA. Upregulation of Aurora B is reported in pancreatic and prostate cancers. The active kinase is useful in the study of Aurora B regulation and for inhibitor screening.
