Active Recombinant Mouse Coagulation Factor III

Cat.No. : F3-459M
Product Overview : Recombinant mouse F3 consists of the extracellular domain of mouse tissue factor, amino acids 29-250 of the protein, plus an amino terminal peptide sequence used for purification. It is produced in anE.coliexpression system. It is visualized at approximately 28 kD on an SDS gel electrophoresis.

Cat. No. : F3-459M
Description : Tissue factor is a cell-surface protein of endothelial cells and monocytes involved in coagulation and inflammation. It is the primary cellular initiator of coagulation cascade, and functions as receptor and cofactor for coagulation Factor VII and VIIa.
Source : E.coli.
Activity : can be used in a single-stage clotting assay (ingredients: normal mouse plasma + phospholipids in a buffer containing CaCl2). At a stock concentration of 90 µg/ml a 1:5 dilution of 4500M with the test sample yields a clotting time of approximately 34 seconds.
Presentation : Screw capped clear glass vial containing10 µg of protein lyophilized in a buffer of PBS, 0.01% CHAPS, pH 7.8 with 200 mM mannitol added as an excipient.
Purity : Estimated at greater than 95% per SDS gel electrophoresis and silver staining. 4500M appears as a single band at approximately 28 kD.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute by adding 100 µL of filtered deionized water.
Storage And Stability : Store lyophilized protein at 2°-8°C. Reconstituted protein may be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20°C or colder. It is recommended to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
