Active Human alpha 1-Microglobulin Reference Standard

Cat.No. : AMBP-5H
  • Specification
  • Gene Information
  • Related Products
Description : This gene encodes a complex glycoprotein secreted in plasma. The precursor is proteolytically processed into distinct functioning proteins: alpha-1-microglobulin, which belongs to the superfamily of lipocalin transport proteins and may play a role in the regulation of inflammatory processes, and bikunin, which is a urinary trypsin inhibitor belonging to the superfamily of Kunitz-type protease inhibitors and plays an important role in many physiological and pathological processes. This gene is located on chromosome 9 in a cluster of lipocalin genes.
Species : Human
Form : Liquid
Bio-activity : The level of alpha 1-Microglobulin in the serum was quantified using ELISA.
Usage : For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Quality Control Test : Generated from a human serum pool. This lot has been tested by standard laboratory procedures and found to be negative for HIV 1, HIV 2, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
Storage : Stored at -20 °C, 4 °C for less than seven days, frozen for greater than seven days.
Concentration : 12.09 ug/ml
Preservative : 0.1% sodium azide
