Description : Truncated Recombinant HIV-1 MN envelope protein gp41 produced as a fusion protein in the E.coli Expression System. Truncated gp41 protein mol.wt: 35kD. This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and HIV-1 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Elisa.
Form : Frozen Liquid
Molecular Mass : 35 kD
Purity : > 98 % by SDS-PAGE
Applications : In-Vitro Diagnostics;
Immunization;
T-Cell Activation.
Notes : Recommended concentrations for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications.
ELISA and Western ELISA require 10-100ng protein depending on the nature and affinity of the detection reagent. Human serum polyclonal antibodies yield titers of 1:1000 or greater at 100ng of immobilized protein under standard ELISA conditions.
Stability : At least 36 months at -75 centigrade. At least 12 months at -20 centigrade.
Storage : Store at -75 centigrade.
Dilutions : 10 mM Tris, pH 8, 0.002% SDS
