Description : | Truncated Recombinant HIV-2 envelope protein gp36 produced as a fusion protein in the E.coli Expression System. Truncated gp36 protein mol.wt: 28kD. This protein binds to murine anti-gp36 HIV-2 monoclonal antibodies and HIV-2 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western ELISA. |
Form : | Frozen Liquid |
Molecular Mass : | 28 kD |
Purity : | > 98 % by SDS-PAGE |
Applications : | Human Diagnostics; Immunization; T-Cell Activation. |
Notes : | Recommended concentrations for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. ELISA and Western ELISA require 10-100ng protein depending on the nature and affinity of the detection reagent. Human serum polyclonal antibodies yield titers of 1:1000 or greater at 100ng of immobilized protein under standard ELISA conditions. |
Stability : | At least 24 months at -75 centigrade. |
Storage : | Store at -75 centigrade. |
Dilutions : | 10 mM Tris, pH 8.0, SDS (<0.01%) |
