Cat.No. : CCL14-167H Optional Service: Optional requirements on this protein
Product Overview : Recombinant human CCL14 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purifed by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer.
Description : CCL14, also known as Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 14, is member of a superfamily of inducible, secreted, proinflammatory cytokines. It has weak activities on human monocytes and acts via receptors that also recognize MIP-1α. It also enhances the proliferation of CD34 myeloid progenitor cells. The processed form of CCL14, designated HCC-1(9-74), is a chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes, eosinophils and T cells and is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5.
Source : E.coli.
Form : Liquid. In Phosphate Buffered Saline pH7.4 containing 10% glycerol.
Molecular Weight : 10.9 kDa (95aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF.
Purity : > 95% by SDS - PAGE.
Concentration : 0.5 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay).
Endotoxin Level : < 1.0 EU per 1 μg of protein (determined by LAL method).
Storage : Can be stored at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Pathways : Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction
Gene Name : CCL14 chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 14 [ Homo sapiens ]
