Description : This gene, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 14, is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on 17q11.2. The CC cytokines are secreted proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene induces changes in intracellular calcium concentration and enzyme release in monocytes. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Read-through transcripts are also expressed that include exons from the upstream cytokine gene, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 15.
Source : E.coli
Species : Human
Tag : Tag Free
Protein length : Mature chain
Conjugation/Label : Biotin
Form : Lyophilised
Endotoxin : Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 EU/μg).
Applications : ELISA, WB
Notes : FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY (RUO).
Storage : The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 1 year from date of receipt at -20 centigrade. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at -20 centigrade for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss
Storage Buffer : Lyophilised from 0.2 μm filtered PB, 100mM NaCl solution pH 7.5.
Reconstitution : Upon receipt a quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
