Species : Human
Source : HEK293
Tag : His
Protein Length : 1-734 aa
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Bio-activity : Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of C6 Rat brain glial cells. Human CAD4 immobilized at 0.8 μg/ml, 100 μl/well will mediate >20% C6 cell adhesion.
Molecular Mass : The recombinant pro form of human CAD4 comprises 725 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 80 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, rhCAD4 migrates as an approximately 90-100 kDa protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin : < 1 EU/µg as determined by LAL test.
Purity : > 85 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Storage : Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C upon receiving. Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
