GM-CSF promotes the differentiation and mobilization of granulocytemacrophage, erythroid, megakaryocyte, and eosinophil progenitors. CSF2R is a low affinity receptor for granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor. Transduces a signal that results in the proliferation, differentiation, and functional activation of hematopoietic cells.
