Recombinant Human IL4 Protein, His-Avi-tagged, Biotinylated

Cat.No.: IL4-139H
Product Overview: Biotinylated Human IL-4 is expressed from HEK293 cells. It contains AA His 25 - Ser 153 (Accession # AAH67514). This protein carries an Avi tag at the C-terminus, followed by a polyhistidine tag.
Source: HEK293
Species: Human
Tag : His-Avi
Predicted N Terminal: His 25
Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4, 10% trehalose.
Bio-activity: Immobilized Human IL-4 R alpha, His Tag at 5 ug/mL (100 uL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human IL-4, His Tag with a linear range of 1.95-15.6 ug/mL. Biotinylated Human IL-4, His Tag, Avi Tag stimulates the proliferation of TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 1.19-2.64 ug/mL.
Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 17.6 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the protein migrates as 22 kDa under reducing condition, and 21 kDa under non-reducing condition (SDS-PAGE).
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Characteristic: Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin. The biotin to protein ratio is 0.5-1 as determined by the HABA assay.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage: For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20ºC or lower. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss is observed after storage at: 4-8ºC for 12 months in lyophilized state; -70ºC for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
