Recombinant Human MUC16 Protein, Fc-Avi-tagged, Biotinylated

Cat.No.: MUC16-43H
Product Overview: Biotinylated Human CA125, Fc Tag, Avi Tag is expressed from HEK293 cells. It contains AA Gly 12660 - Met 12923 (Accession # Q8WXI7-1). This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus, followed by a Avi tag.
Source: HEK293
Species: Human
Tag : Fc-Avi
Predicted N Terminal: Gly 12660
Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 100 mM Glycine, pH7.5, 10% trehalose.
Bio-activity: Immobilized Human Mesothelin, His Tag at 10 ug/mL (100 uL/well) can bind Biotinylated Human CA125, Fc Tag, Avi Tag with a linear range of 2-78 ug/mL.
Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 56.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 75-100 kDa under reducing condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Characteristic: Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin. The biotin to protein ratio is 0.5-1 as determined by the HABA assay.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage: For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20ºC or lower. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss is observed after storage at: 4-8ºC for 12 months in lyophilized state; -70ºC for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
