• Description: N-terminal His-tagged prion protein globular domain (amino acid residues 90-231). The protein may be reconstituted in detergent-containing buffers e.g. TX-100 (0.5%) or under mild denaturing conditions (e.g. 1.5 M guanidine-HCl or urea). The His-tagged PrPc is an ideal positive control in immunochemical detection of prions. It may be used directly for the production of antibodies in animals.
