• Description: β-synuclein (amino acids 1-134), an acidic neuronal protein of 134 amino acids, is extremely heat-resistant. β-synucelin also has a chaperone-like activity. Recently, β-synuclein has been suggested to inhibit β-synuclein aggregation.
